If you’re looking for a cool little pub in the old port this could be a good spot for you. Located in the Marché Bonsecour Market, Pub Brewskey offers 12 Beer taps with rotating beers form breweries such as Les Trois Mousketaire, Charlevoix, Dunham, Brasseurs Ilimité, Ras l’Boc. They also have a large selection of Scotch  all very well priced for the Old Port. The decor is pretty basic and very pub like, nothing fancy over here and as you can read on their website dress code is “Just come wearing clothes”. They also have a terrasse for warmer months making it a good place to enjoy a cold beer. The food is also pretty good, on my visit I shared with a friend the Entree Platter ½ Sliced Bavette, Chicken wangs (2), grilled shrimps (2) & potatoes. As for my main course I tried the Chicken & Waffles with dark craft beer caramel. That caramel was just amazing, a perfect balance between sweet and salty. IMG_0520 The staff were really friendly and even the cook gave us a thumbs up when he saw how much we were enjoying our food. So great place if you’re not in the mood to get dressed for the occasion and are just in the mood for comfort food and some drinks. They are open Tuesday to Sunday until 3AM except Sunday when they close at midnight. Pub Brewskey
